Lucknow: A video of a beating between party workers at a Congress office in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, is rapidly going viral. It can be seen clearly in this video that the congressmen are beating the female worker. Taking cognizance of the video, National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma said, "In the morning I saw a video in which a woman was beaten badly in a political party meeting, we want women to come to politics but behave like this, how we will encourage them to come to politics.'

Rekha Sharma further said, "I urge the UP police to make all the rest at the earliest." In addition, she shared the video and said in a tweet, "How do mentally ill people go into politics? I am taking cognizance of this matter. It may be noted that in the Congress meeting on the by-election to the seven assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, suddenly a party leader attacked the national secretary and state-in-charge Sachin Naik.

Netri had started grappling with Sachin Naik. Some of the witnesses have informed the media that the bouquet was also hurled at the hero. After which the activists pushed the Netri out of the meeting. The video of the incident has been increasing since the viral on social media.
