Recently, in an interview given to a famous website, Neeraj Chopra expressed his love for Golgappas, and at the same time, he had told that 'why does eating them do no harm.' He said in the interview, "There is no harm in eating Golgappas. Because it contains a lot of water. By eating it in excess, your stomach gets filled with water. And the matter of Golgappa, it looks big, but the flour is very less in it. After drinking it, more water goes into your body.''

Along with this, he also said that he is not asking to eat Golgappas every day. But sometimes an athlete can also eat Golgappas and there is no harm in it. Apart from Golgappas, Neeraj loves homemade churma (a mixture of bread, ghee, and sugar). On Saturday, Neeraj's mother said, "I am waiting for Neeraj to return from Tokyo to give him churma. He loves food. I will cook and feed him. I was sure that Neeraj will win the gold medal."

On the other hand, Neeraj's sister told that Neeraj had to give up sweets before starting his journey as an athlete. Neeraj's sister told that Neeraj loves sweets but he is so dedicated to his game that he gives up sweets before any championship. Talking about the Olympics, Neeraj gave up eating sweets 6 months before the Olympics.
