National Testing Agency, NTA released the notice on its official website nta.ac.in, on March 12, noting that National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 examination would be conducted on August 1, 2021.

More than 16 lakh candidates appear for the medical and dental entrance examination each year. Detailed schedule for NEET 2021 would be released shortly on ntaneet.nic.in. 

NTA has also confirmed that the examination would be conducted offline and only once this year. The entrance exam for admission to medical and dental courses as well as BSMS, BUMS and BHMS would be conducted in 11 languages including English and Hindi. Unlike the speculation, there is no change in the mode of the examination.

NTA has further informed that the complete information bulletin containing detailed information regarding the exam, syllabus, eligibility criteria for age, reservation, etc. would be released on ntaneet.nic.in when the online application begins. The date for the same and schedule has not been released. All candidates interested to appear for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official websites nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in.
