In the television series "Doosri Maa," actress Neha Joshi portrays Yashoda, a housewife and mother. She discusses the challenges of portraying a mother on screen as well as how she connects with her persona.

She uttered: "Yashoda works as a social worker and is a devoted housewife. She is a kind and sensible woman. She is pleased with her two daughters. She never shows disrespect, but she isn't afraid to let people know that she won't put up with it."

Added Neha "She has a special, clever way of making people realise their errors. She meets Maya, a single mother, while at work and makes a promise to give Krishna, Maya's only child, a safe and secure future."

Yashoda (Neha Joshi), the protagonist of the story, lives in Uttar Pradesh with her husband, two daughters, and in-laws. However, her life takes a sharp turn when she and her husband unknowingly adopt Krishna, who is portrayed by Aayudh Bhanushali, his illegitimate child.

Neha claimed that she shares many characteristics with Yashoda "I do share some of Yashoda's character's traits. I approach life realistically and despise deception, just like Yashoda did. I value appreciation from others and respect it myself. But what matters most is that I cherish my husband and family."

Given that the show is set in Uttar Pradesh and she is a Maharashtrian, she was asked how she worked on the dialect "As a creative person, I enjoy taking on new challenges. It gives me a sense of satisfaction and helps me evolve as an actor. There is always new knowledge awaiting investigation. I had to adjust to the UP dialect and way of life because I am a Maharashtrian."

"I had to participate in a lengthy workshop to learn the intricacies and inhabit the role. In order to comprehend and observe the mannerisms and lifestyle of some UP women, I also got to know them."

"My experience in the theatre also helps me to adapt and portray the character well. The director, Imtiaz Punjabi, is a perfectionist who is very picky about everything. Since I had previously collaborated with him on "Ek Mahanayak - Dr. B.R. Ambedkar," it was simple to comprehend and adjust to his needs "Adds she.

Regarding her experience working with the young actor Aayudh Bhanusali, she stated: "We are very happy and enthusiastic. Always keeping in touch, we made it a point to speak on the phone, text, and meet up when we could. Our relationship has always been very unique. I also treat him like my son in real life."
