New Delhi: Nepal, being entangled with its traditional friend India after being seduced by China, has now raised objection to the construction of roads and barriers in India. Nepal has argued that India's roads and dams are causing flooding in its area. While the reality is that many parts of Bihar are submerged due to water from Nepal. The water of Gandak and Kosi river is also increasing continuously.

According to Nepal's local media, the Oli government has sent objection to the construction of road and dam by sending diplomatic notes to India. The local newspaper quoted Ravindra Nath Shrestha, secretary of Nepal's irrigation ministry, as saying that Nepal Foreign Ministry has sent a diplomatic letter to India in this regard, objecting to the construction near the border. It has been requested to organize a meeting of the Joint Committee on Flood and Water Management to be held annually between the two countries.

Speaking to the newspaper, Nepal Foreign Ministry spokesman Bharatraj Paudyal said that diplomatic letters have been given between the two countries on any necessary issues. There is nothing new in this. Both the countries are able to resolve any issue through mutual negotiations.
