New Delhi: Mohan Yadav and Vishnu Deo Sai, the newly appointed Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh respectively, are poised to take their oaths of office today.

The swearing-in ceremony for Mohan Yadav is scheduled to take place at Lal Parade Ground in the state capital, while Vishnu Deo Sai will take the oath at Science College Ground in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, at 2 pm.

Dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other prominent figures are expected to grace both ceremonies with their presence.

Madhya Pradesh will witness two deputy Chief Ministers, Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda, while former Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is set to assume the role of Assembly Speaker.

Following a resounding electoral victory, the BJP secured 163 seats in Madhya Pradesh, overshadowing the Congress, which finished a distant second with 66 seats, after nearly two decades of entrenched incumbency in the state.

In Chhattisgarh, BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sharma confirmed the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and other senior party leaders at the swearing-in ceremony.
