NIA did not present charge sheet in Pulwama attack, accused got bail

The Pulwama terrorist attack last year shook the country. Many brave soldiers of the country were martyred in this attack. The same other and an accused caught in the Pulwama attack plot got bail from the court. The accused got the benefit of not presenting the charge sheet in this case by the NIA (National Investigation Agency) investigating the case.

For your information, let us tell you that Yusuf Chopan, a resident of Pulwama, had applied for bail. A hearing was held on Thursday in Patiala House NIA court in Delhi, in which the lawyer for the accused said in the court that it has been 180 days for Yusuf to be detained. While the charge sheet has not been presented by the NIA till now.

On this matter, the court further said that the basis of bail is made legally. The accused was granted bail on a personal bond of 50 thousand. It was also ordered that whenever he is called for investigation, he should be present. Do not get involved in such activities anywhere. Provide full cooperation to the investigating agency. Judge Parveen Singh granted bail while granting the application. Let us know that the CRPF convoy was attacked in Pulwama on 14 February 2019. In this, 44 CRPF personnel were martyred.
