Agartala (Tripura): From February 11 to 20, the Tripura government has enforced a night curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to halt the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Cinemas, spas, and gyms will be allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity, according to a state government decision issued on Wednesday. People (up to 50 percent capacity) are allowed in closed spaces, according to new guidelines issued by the state government.

Restaurants are allowed to stay open until 10 p.m. with a 50 percent discount, according to the directive.

"All government and non-government offices are required to operate with 100 percent attendance. Officials and workers of all categories must adhere to the aggressive COVID-19 acceptable behaviour "the directive said

"At all times, all police and personnel must ensure rigorous adherence to COVID proper behaviour, such as frequent hand washing, sanitization, wearing a mask/face cover, observing social distancing, and so on," it continued.

In the meantime, India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare recorded 71,365 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
