New Delhi: After about 7 years and 22 days, the role of Avanindra of Gorakhpur has been instrumental in getting justice for Nirbhaya. When Nirbhaya was imprisoned in the bus, Avanindra of Gorakhpur was with him, where he tried his best to save her friend, but could not save Nirbhaya. He also became an eyewitness in the case. He not only played friendship but proved to be an important link in punishing the culprits. Avanindra, who fought against the accused of Nirbhaya, was so broken after the incident that it took the family 4 years to handle them. After the convicts have been punished, he said, today really his friend has got justice. Mukesh, Pawan, Akshay, and Vinay, who pleaded with Nirbhaya, will be hanged on January 22. The Patiala House Court has also issued a death warrant for the four convicts. On knowing about this, Avanindra got tears in his eyes.

After getting the information about the death warrant of the convicts, he talked to his advocate father Bhanu Prakash Pandey. On the night of 16 December 2012, Nirbhaya was going by bus with her friend Avanindra in New Delhi. During this, the 4 convicts crossed all limits of impunity. This incident shook Avanindra from inside. He went into shock.
