New Delhi: After the mercy plea of Mukesh, convicted in the Nirbhaya gang rape case, was rejected, his plea was heard in the apex court and the final verdict will be pronounced tomorrow. In this petition, the President has challenged the order to dismiss the mercy petition, along with the death warrant, a demand has also been imposed on the death warrant of February 1. In both cases, a decision will be taken on Wednesday.

During the hearing, the lawyer appearing for the convicted convict Mukesh made a sensational claim that he (Mukesh) was physically abused in Tihar Jail. Along with this, the lawyer also claimed that Mukesh was also beaten in jail. While pleading for relief for Mukesh in the court, he also said that he should hate crime and not a criminal.

Earlier, the counsel for the convicted Mukesh, appearing for the petition, said that the President did not think properly while rejecting the mercy petition. The lawyer, quoting Mukesh, said that my DNA report was not presented to the President, which proves that I did not rape. Let us tell you that Mukesh has challenged the order of the President to dismiss the mercy petition. Also demanded a stay on the death warrant of February 1.
