New Delhi: Preparations for the Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple in Ayodhya are going on a war footing. But in the meantime, a controversy has arisen once again regarding the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Mahant Dharmadas of Nirvani Cantonment has sent a legal notice to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) objecting to the Ram Temple Trust. It has been told in the notice that the Nirvani arena has played an important role in the legal battle of the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute.

Nirvani Akhade has expressed displeasure over not getting a place in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Mahant Dharmadas has demanded a place for the Nirvani Akhara in the trust. In the notice, Mahant Dharmadas said that within 2 months, it should be decided to take him as a priest in the new Ram temple. Mahant Dharmadal of Nirvani Akhade said that if his demand is not considered, then he will adopt legal path forward. It is noteworthy that during the legal battle in the apex court, the Nirvani Arena was also present in the parikars. Therefore, Dharmadas has claimed the throne of the priest of Ram temple.

While giving a historic verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute, the apex court ordered the formation of a trust for the construction of the temple. After this, a 15-member trust was formed by the Modi government. This trust has been named 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust'. The responsibility of this trust will be to look after the construction of the Ram temple and all its arrangements.
