Also, the way for the construction of a four-lane bypass on this road was cleared. 1060.16 crore will be spent on this head. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has given this news by tweeting.

In his tweet, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that permission has been granted under EPC mode for the construction of the Chausa-Buxar (Package 2) 4-lane bypass on NH 319A in the Buxar district of Bihar at a cost of Rs 1060.16 crore. It will be a greenfield i.e. new road. This road will connect the Purvanchal expressway and the Buxar-Varanasi greenfield road. As soon as the Centre's permission is received, land acquisition work for this road will now be done. Then, it will be tendered and then construction will start. The work of Mohania to Chausa, the first package of this road, is going on. A Kolkata-based agency has been given the job. This road is a total of 69 km long.

Former Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen has expressed his gratitude to the Central Government for getting permission from the Center. He said that the proposal for this scheme was sent to the Center during my tenure. He himself had spoken to the Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for its permission. With this permission, all the obstacles in the direction of its construction will be completed. In future, due to the connectivity of Bihar with UP and smooth road transport, commerce and business activity will increase on a large scale in this region. For Banaras which is a symbol of the Hindu faith, people will also experience smooth and pleasant traffic there.
