Patna: Bihar BJP president Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the collapse of a bridge on the Ganga river between Sultanganj and Agwani Ghat. The leader of the opposition party BJP has said a very dangerous thing about Nitish Kumar. Samrat Chaudhary has said that Nitish Kumar should die by drowning in water. "It is unfortunate that the CM of the state is an engineer and the entire engineering of Bihar has failed. Bihar's model of development has been marred by corruption."
After the Bhagalpur bridge accident, Samrat Chaudhary reached Parbatta in Khagaria on Friday to inspect Ground Zero. He inspected the entire bridge from Sultanganj to Aguwani Ghat by helicopter. Later, while interacting with media persons, he said that the foundation stone of this bridge was laid in 2014. I did not know that an engineer should be the CM in Bihar and the entire engineering of the state would fail. The collapse of this bridge is very unfortunate. The bridge being built between Sultanganj and Aguwani Ghat is going to connect two districts. But Nitish Kumar's development model failed due to corruption.
Samrat Chaudhary said that he is touring many parts of Bihar. Due to this, he has been told that many more bridges have also collapsed in the same manner, whose reports have not come out. Bridges collapsed at 4-4 places in Purnea. This means that the entire engineering has failed and such CMs who call themselves engineers should take responsibility for it. And they should die by drowning in water. Samrat Chaudhary said that when the bridge was approved in 2014, the road construction minister was Nitish Kumar himself. He was the one who approved the school. Therefore, an FIR should be lodged against them too. Samrat Chaudhary said that if the bridge was being constructed on the design and how about Rs 1400 crore was paid to the construction company. It is a matter of investigation. An FIR will be lodged against the CM only then the right action will be taken.
