New Delhi: While a record number of new corona cases are being reported every day in India and a large number of people are dying, there is comforting news. Meanwhile, more than 3 lakh 60 thousand new cases of corona infection have been reported in India on Tuesday and 3293 people have died. The number of active cases in the country has also increased to 29 lakh 78 thousand 709.

The highest number of cases in the country are being registered from States like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. In Maharashtra alone, 66,358 new coronavirus cases were confirmed and 895 patients died on Tuesday alone. At the same time, 66,179 patients have died in the state so far due to the virus.
