Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court, while hearing a case, has said that no Indian woman can be allowed to share her husband if she comes to know that her husband is married, he is preparing for another marriage, then it is impossible to expect understanding from him. A bench of Justice Rahul Chaturvedi upheld the lower court's order and said for her husband Sushil Kumar that it appears to be a crime under Section 306 of the IPC.

In fact, a case of a wife's suicide was registered at Maduadih police station in Varanasi, in which her husband was accused of abetting the suicide. During the hearing of the case, the Allahabad High Court rejected the petition of Sushil Kumar and six others. The high court has said that Indian wives are very sensitive to their husbands and it is a big shock to the woman to find out whether her husband is being shared or he is going to get married to another one.

The Allahabad High Court said that this reason itself is enough to commit suicide. The wife committed suicide alleging that the husband was already married, who also has two children and got married for the third time without divorcing. After that, she was beaten up and mentally tortured. When the additional sessions court dismissed Heri's plea in the case, she had moved to the Allahabad High Court. The court, while hearing the matter, said there was sufficient material to prosecute the accused. The court said that in 2018 itself, if the husband got married for the third time, then this is the main reason for the wife's happiness.
