Bareilly: The collector's office in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, has issued an order banning employees and officers from wearing jeans and T-shirts in the office. Bareilly Collector Shivkant Dwivedi has also banned other casual dresses in the office. After that, now employees and officers will not be able to come to the Bareilly district office wearing jeans and T-shirts.

In the order issued by Bareilly Collector Shivkant Dwivedi, it has been said that government employees and officers should wear a formal dress so that they look like officers. People who want to wear a casual dress can wear it outside the office. It has been observed that many officers/employees (mainly contractual employees and consultants engaged in government work) do not wear proper attire. Therefore, the image of government employees among the people is tarnished.

If any employee violates this order, action will be taken against him. The government had already forbidden wearing jeans and T-shirts in offices. Now the Bareilly district administration has ordered to implement it strictly. This order is being taken positively by the office staff and all are wearing formal dresses during office time.
