Earlier, several Brigadier level meetings between the two armies have been proved fruitless. Now there are expectations from the meeting of Lieutenant General level to be held on June 6. Now Lieutenant General Harendra Singh, the commander of the fourteen corps of the Northern Command, who takes care of the security of Ladakh, will meet his counterpart officer of the Chinese Army and try to reduce the dispute. According to sources, a special proposal will be made to resolve the dispute on behalf of India. It is believed that India will insist on the restoration of the former situation.
