Amritsar: The claim made by the granthi of Nizampur Gurdwara in Punjab's Kapurthala 'sabotage' case has now come to light. According to reports, the police have told that the deceased was seen by a sevadar (volunteer) while having food in the kitchen on the ground floor. Notably, only sevadars and granthis reside on the ground floor of this gurudwara, and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is situated on the upper floor. The man, aged between 20 and 30 years, was kept in a room in the gurdwara premises. The mob did not even allow the police to take him into custody and the angry mob thrashed him to death.
