Jaipur: After the Rajasthan government, the Archaeological Department of the Government of India will now also say that Maharana Pratap did not lose against Akbar in the Battle of Haldighati. The stone installed in the blood plate by the Archaeological Department of India at Badshahi Bagh in Haldighati and Rajsamand will be removed. This inscription depicts maharana Pratap retreating in the battle of Haldighati. However, the words written in this inscription have been changed by some. Now ASI's going to remove this stone plate itself.

In fact, the previous BJP government made this change in school courses, describing Maharana Pratap as a conqueror in the Battle of Haldighati. Since then, Rajput organizations in Rajasthan have been constantly demanding that the stone plates installed by the Archaeological Department of India (ASI) in Haldighati and Raktalai be removed. It is written on this inscription that Maharana had to retreat in the Battle of Haldighati between Akbar and Maharana Pratap in 1576.

Diya Kumari, a former member of the Jaipur royal family and an MP from the Rajsamand Lok Sabha seat, was constantly demanding the Central government for the same. Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal has since said that orders have been issued to ASI in this direction. The Superintendent-in-charge of Jodhpur Reason of ASI Vipin Chandra Negi said steps will be taken soon in this direction.
