Amritsar: The action of the Municipal Corporation against the encroachment is going on in the capital of the country, Delhi. Meanwhile, Punjab CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann has warned those who encroach on the land. He warned the encroachers that action can be taken against the occupants. The government has given time till May 31 to give up possession of government and panchayat lands.
Along with this, CM Mann has also warned that cases can be registered if the land is not returned. CM Mann has said in a tweet in Punjabi that he appeals to all the people who are illegally occupying government and panchayat lands, whether they are politicians, officers or influential people, to give up the possession of these lands by 31 May and the land government return it, otherwise old expenses and new pamphlets may be inserted.
Let us inform that on Wednesday also, action against illegal encroachment continued in many parts of Delhi including Dwarka Sector 3 of Delhi. Action was taken against many illegal buildings with the help of bulldozers. On Tuesday too, the Municipal Corporation removed the illegal construction by reaching New Friends Colony. Municipal officials had also reached Shaheen Bagh on Monday, but they returned without taking any action after protests by local people and politicians.
