After Rajasthan, a feud has started between Congress leaders in Punjab. The cabinet ministers of Punjab have criticized the state government in the recent fake alcohol case. On Thursday there was a demand of expulsion of Rajya Sabha member Pratap Singh Bajwa and Shamsher Singh Dulo from the Congress. The ministers of the Punjab government, in a media briefing, described the conduct of the MPs as gross indiscipline and said there was no 'importance' of the party left for them. Ministers said that it is necessary to expel them without any delay.

Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar had told 2 days ago that he will write a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi that strict action should be taken against them for indiscipline. Both Rajya Sabha members criticized their own party's government over the recent poisonous liquor case. 113 people died in that accident. The ministers said that indiscipline cannot be tolerated.

He told that it seems that apart from doing their job as MP, their intention is to destabilize the government. The ministers said that bypassing the party and government forums, they have made contact with the governor. Both these MPs have not only attacked the basic element of democratic governance but have also tried to create turbulence in the Punjab Police.
