The WHO said that these days the cases of Ebola infection in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are becoming even faster. The organization has also told that this too is a dangerous disease like corona infection which will require money to fight. Due to this, the countries of the world should do their best to deal with it. The organization has said that 56 such cases have been recorded in Congo, which is more than the total number of cases registered in the last outbreak of the province in 2018.
According to WHO's Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Matshidiso Moiti, efforts to curb the corona infection epidemic have complicated the response to Ebola's havoc. It has also been informed that we should not let the coronavirus bother you to deal with other pressing health hazards. The current Ebola outbreak continues in the headwinds as cases are spreading rapidly in remote areas in dense rainforests.
The WHO said in a statement that it has raised $ 1.75 million to deal with the havoc of Ebola that was announced on June 1. This can only last a few more weeks. Additional funds have been called for help with vaccination, testing, contact tracing, treatment and health education. Deaths due to Ebola are also increasing. Dr. Michael Ryan, the executive director of the WHO's Emergency Health Program, has worked extensively on Ebola, saying on Monday that 17 people had died as of Sunday with confirmation of Ebola cases. Three suspected cases were reported.
