If you have any remaining work related to the bank, then complete it immediately. Keep this in mind... Today is the last day to complete this work. From today onwards, government banks across the country are going to remain closed continuously for the remaining days of this month. In fact, the bank will remain closed for four consecutive days amidst a two-day strike on various demands of the banking employees. Bank employees have called this strike at a time when the central government is going to present its last full budget on February 1 and before that no work is being done in banks across the country for four consecutive days.
The country's largest government bank SBI said in the exchange filing on Friday that due to the strike from January 30 to January 31, its normal services in the branches have also been estimated to be affected. However, they further said that necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that the services at its branches and offices continue to run normally during the strike.
Before the two-day strike on January 30-31, the banks are going to remain closed due to the declared holiday on Saturday and Sunday. In total, the bank is going to remain closed for four consecutive days. The bank will remain closed on January 28, Saturday (the second Saturday of this month), January 29, Sunday (holiday), and January 30-31 (two-day strike).
