Aligarh: Recently, the police are suspected of staging a rally in Aligarh like Shaheen Bagh of Delhi. The police suspect that they are being funded by the women who have come back on the road since Friday, 17 January 2020. At the same time, after the input of intelligence, strong security arrangements are being made in the city from the police administrative level. On one hand, magistrates have been posted by dividing the city into 25 sectors. At the same time, half a dozen women magistrates have been posted in the city. Paan Wali Kothi and Jamalpur are on target of these protesters. In view of this, notices are being issued to the people. So far, notice has been given to the youth SP leader Khwaja Hasan Jibran, son of former minister Khwaja Haleem. Apart from this, a dozen such people have been identified for giving notice.

According to information received from the sources, it has been learned that in protest of the Citizenship Amendment Act, there is an exercise to start a sit-in of women on the lines of Shaheen Bagh somewhere in the Civil Lines area. On Friday, in Jamalpur and Dodpur, women suddenly came on the streets, protesting. When this sudden demonstration took place, when intelligence input was collected, it was found that some big leaders and entrepreneurs of the city are funding for this sit-in.

For your information, let us tell you that the DPOs of Dhanipur and Jawan Rajni Sharma and Kusum Verma have been reserved for Circle III only. It will coordinate with the circle officers and police in-charge of their respective areas and will work towards stopping the performance of women happening anywhere. Apart from this, the sector scheme has been implemented in the city.
