A bizarre case was witnessed in the Odisha Legislative Assembly when Congress MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati gave a 'flying kiss' to Speaker SN Patro after being allowed to raise issues in his constituency. Seeing the incident, the entire House echoed with laughter. Jeypore MLA clarified that he did not do this with the intention of insulting the characters and he did so only to show gratitude to the Speaker.

Flying Kiss was my appreciation for him as he expressed concern for the backward areas in my constituency.
