For "complicated" reasons, Don't Worry Darling is taking over the front page entertainment headlines! The Olivia Wilde-directed film is still one of the most eagerly anticipated films of 2022, but the turmoil surrounding DWD continues to rage behind the scenes. Notably, the gifted ladies "kept their distance" from one another at the Venice Film Festival due to rumored on-set problems between Wilde and main actress Florence Pugh.

Nevertheless, a source close to Olivia Wilde tells E! News that the actress-director is making every effort to put her picture ahead of the drama, "There's many different sides to each mini-drama. Olivia is trying to steer the focus onto the film and not feed into it." The cast of Don't Worry Darling was largely cordial towards one another at the film's Venice premiere. Harry Styles included, there was still a definite division between Olivia and Florence Pugh. Chris Pine and Gemma Chan were seated between the group during the screening as well.

Do you believe the Don't Worry Darling behind-the-scenes scandals can have an impact on the movie's success? In the comments box below, be honest with Pinkvilla about your ideas.

Olivia Wilde attempted to dispel rumors of a contentious argument with Florence Pugh at the DWD press conference, which Pugh missed due to commitments for the Dune sequel, "As for all the endless tabloid gossip and all the noise out there, I mean, the internet feeds itself. I don't feel the need to contribute. I think it's sufficiently well-nourished."

Don't Worry Darling debuts in India on September 30 and also stars Nick Kroll.
