Algerian boxer and Paris 2024 Olympic gold medallist, Imane Khelif, has once again captured attention, but this time, it’s not for her skills in the ring. The 25-year-old athlete, who recently faced scrutiny due to a gender eligibility issue, has revealed a striking new feminine makeover in a viral video that has everyone talking.

The controversy surrounding Khelif arose when the International Boxing Association (IBA) disqualified her, along with Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting, from the 2023 World Boxing Championship due to the presence of XY chromosomes. Despite the setback, Khelif didn't let the controversy derail her focus. During the Paris Olympics, she made history by becoming the first Algerian woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing, defeating Italy’s Angela Carini in a swift 46-second match.

After her victory, Khelif faced harsh online harassment and was even labeled as a "biological male" by critics. Unfazed, she took a strong stand against the abuse by filing a formal legal complaint, which mentioned prominent figures such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk and British author JK Rowling.

However, Khelif's recent viral moment shifted the focus from her struggles to her newfound confidence and transformation. In a video posted on Instagram, the boxing champion is seen throwing punches at the camera before transitioning to a clip showcasing her new look. Dressed in a stylish pink floral outfit, she completed the ensemble with matching hoop earrings, pink eyeliner, and glossy lip makeup, radiating elegance and strength.

Despite the controversies and challenges, Imane Khelif continues to inspire with her resilience and her ability to rise above adversity, both inside and outside the ring.
