Mumbai: The cases of Omicron, a new variant of Corona in India, are increasing continuously. Most of its cases have been reported from Maharashtra. At the same time, the Maharashtra government is serious about Omicron. Meanwhile, speaking in the House on the increasing cases of Omicron, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Ajit Pawar said, "We need to take things seriously. We do not want a double lockdown. We request everyone in the House to please wear a mask." I appeal to the leaders of the opposition to speak responsibly on this issue."

Let us tell you that at present there have been a total of 236 cases of Omicron in India. Of these, 104 patients have become healthy. According to the Ministry of Health, the recovery rate in the country is 98.40%. At the same time, Maharashtra has the maximum 65 positives of Omicron. Of these, 35 patients have become healthy. Apart from this, there are 64 Omicron cases in the capital Delhi, out of which 23 cases have been cured.

The highest number of Omicron cases have been registered in Maharashtra so far in India. In view of this, the government has imposed section 144 till December 31. BMC has issued new guidelines, in which only up to 50 percent capacity is allowed in closed spaces and only 25 percent people are allowed in open spaces. Also, the organizers of the party will have to take permission from the officials if there is a gathering of more than 200 people.
