In the Chirang District's Bijni's Kumarisali, a guy accused of illegally selling deer meat was arrested. He was caught by an SSB squad based on specific information. The person arrested has been identified as Abin Narzary, a resident of Ladanguri in Bijni, according to the SSB. In the area, he has been involved in the illegal trade and supply of deer meat.

After he was caught on Thursday, the SSB team found 17 kg of suspected deer meat in his hands, which was intended to be sold in the area.  He was then interrogated, and a raid was carried out at Budang Brahma's residence, where another consignment of meat weighing three kilos was recovered based on his statement.

Brahma, on the other hand, managed to flee, but the SSB team has confirmed that Brahma is the main supplier and mastermind behind the illegal trade. Machetes, knives, and a weighing scale are among the things seized. The forest department has received all of the seized items.
