Guwahati: Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said on his Twitter that, "launched an online portal to maintain the record of marks obtained by students in half-yearly and annual examinations conducted by schools". Earlier, Pegu on Tuesday formally inaugurated a children's park and a gymnasium in the Misamari HS School premises under Garubandh village panchayat near Ranagapara town. Inaugurating two mega budget projects completed under the 14th Finance Commission grant of the Assam government in the presence of Irrigation and Housing and Urban Development Minister Ashok Singhal, the Minister said that the state is on the right track of development.

Addressing a huge public meeting in the open session organized in connection with the program, Dr. Pegu also urged all concerned to come forward for the development of areas like Misamari. Addressing the gathering, Ashok Singhal said that the state government is giving more emphasis on education sector among other sectors. The program was organized under the aegis of school principal Kanak Chandra Bardaloi.
