In view of the present situation of the country, only the urgent matters can be considered for hearing from April 15, after the holiday till 14 th in the Uttarakhand High Court. For this, the lawyers will be able to apply through e-mail, on which information can be given through the official website of the court after consideration under a prescribed procedure. For this, the advocates will not have to come in direct contact with the court staff.

With this, on Saturday, in the notification issued by the High Court Registrar General Heera Singh Bonal in the order of the directions of the Chief Justice of the High Court, it has been told that matters other than the most urgent matters cannot be considered in the High Court. It has been clarified in the information that in no case, the lawyers will not personally contact any employee of the court or any officer and staff of the High Court nor will they go to any section of it.

For your information, the decision to hear the cases can be considered only on the basis of the criteria established for the hearing of the cases on holidays. In the event of a hearing as directed by the Chief Justice, the concerned advocate can be informed to send the petition in e-mail with the documents in PDF. A control room will also be set up in the court by computer software experts for conferencing to arrange hearing through video.
