Bhopal: Corona is wreaking havoc in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. A news has come out from Bhopal that is going to give relief. The first operation of a corona patient at Hamidia Hospital in the city has been successfully done. The 38-year-old woman named Geeta had her hand broken into a road accident. The doctors of Hamidia Hospital have operated her successfully.

Geeta used to live with her family in Nalanda Nagar, Mumbai. Her husband Anil Chaurasia was a taxi driver by profession. On May 12, the entire family was returning from Mumbai to their original residence in Allahabad. Then the whole family met with an accident due to a collision with the truck near Rahatgarh Sagar. After the accident, all were admitted to Sagar District Hospital. Her husband was referred to Hamidia Hospital Bhopal due to a serious head injury.

However, all corona tests were also done during the treatment. After which the husband, wife and both children were found to be corona positive in the test. Geeta's husband had to stay on the ventilator at Hamidia Hospital for a few days due to head injury. The injury was very serious, so he died during treatment. The bone on the right side of Geeta was fractured. Which could be corrected only by operation. If the operation had not been done, the situation in Geeta's hand could have worsened. Despite the risk, the doctors decided to perform the operation of Geeta's hand. Her hand was fixed to the plate. Geeta's operation was performed by Dr Ashish Gohia and his team, Professor of Orthopedics Department.
