Due to the increasing cases and deaths of Corona in Punjab, CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday directed the state's DGP to make a special reserve squad, and along with this, he has called for the withdrawal of police personnel posted on essential duties.

A meeting on the corona review has been organized through video talks. The CM presided over and ordered DGP Dinkar Gupta to take strict action against those who violate safety rules, especially those not wearing masks. He also ordered the DGP to give instructions to the SSP of the districts having the majority of the corona case. To prevent further spread of corona, rules and government restrictions must be strictly followed.

CM Amarinder ordered the Health Department to identify the container and micro-container zones. Fast steps should be taken to stop the spread of this epidemic at the earliest. At present, there are 38 micro containment zones in 12 cities in the state. There are seven containment zones in six districts. The CM asked the district administrations to strictly follow the latest guidelines, especially the ban of gathering more than 5 persons. In the war against Corona, the CM has demanded cooperation from the people. The Chief Minister said that all the District Administration and Health Department will have to work together with the local leaders. So that it can succeed in stopping the spread of corona.
