Three sets of diamond jewelery worth more than Rs 80 billion have been stolen from the state museum 'Green Vault' in Dresden, Germany, the world's strongest country. The police and the director of the museum gave this information on Monday. The media has described it as the biggest theft after the second world war.

According to media reports, this museum is in the royal palace of Dresden. There are more than four thousand precious jewels and other items of ivory, gold, silver as well as diamond gems. The stolen jewels include a diamond in the collection of jewelery of the 18th-century Saxony ruler Augustus the Strong, which was beautifully carved.

The police investigating the case said that the thieves broke into the museum in the early hours of Monday. At that time electricity was cut off and there was also a dark shadow on the road. Due to lack of electricity, the alarm in the museum also did not ring. But surveillance camera was working, in which two people are seen entering the museum by breaking the window.

In its statement, the police said that a 24-carat 100 kg gold coin was stolen in 2017 from the Bode Museum in Berlin. It is also being investigated from this perspective that there is no relation between the two cases.
