New Delhi: The corona epidemic has created a huge panic everywhere, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting on Friday to review the situation arising out of the rapid spread of the coronavirus in the national capital. On Thursday, 16,699 new cases of corona were reported in the city while 112 more persons were put to death by the epidemic. 

A senior government official said, "The CM has called a meeting at four o'clock on Friday to review the situation arising out of the rapid spread of the coronavirus in the national capital". In this meeting to be held in the Delhi Secretariat Health Minister Satyendar Jain and senior government officials will also be present. Kejriwal had yesterday slammed several restrictions including curfew over the weekend to curb the spread of coronavirus infection in the capital. Due to this, the mall, gym, spa, and auditorium will also be closed.

Amidst growing cases of coronavirus, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan also visited AIIMS Trauma Center and inspected the health facilities there. Due to this, Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS was also present with him. Dr. Harsh Vardhan also spoke to the doctors of AIIMS and discussed the current situation and challenges. Discussion with AIIMS doctors has revealed that in view of the current situation, medical staff is falling short. AIIMS requires staff. Along with this, talks were also held about the availability of oxygen and corona infection.
