In the Corona period, if you are willing to travel in trains from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Bengal to metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru you will get disappointment. Ticket booking for these trains for the next four days is more than 100 percent. This means that the pace of migrant workers from these states has returned to work.

On Friday, Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said in an online press conference, "The migrant workers are starting to return to their work through trains from June 1". Railways have started operating 100 pairs of Mail and Express and 15 pairs of Special Rajdhani Express trains from June 1.

Yadav said, "It is encouraging that the ticket booking for trains going from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Bengal to Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat is increasing continuously. This is an indication that economic activities are increasing in the country. We are talking to the state governments and will announce special trains on the basis of booking in the coming days."

According to data provided by the railway, 115 percent tickets have been booked for the next four days in the train going from Muzaffarpur to Bandra in Bihar, while 121 percent and Muzaffarpur-Ahmedabad in the special train going from Danapur to Secunderabad. Booking status of special train is 127 percent.
