High-level committee appointed 7 members to probe Nashik accident

Mumbai: 24 people have been killed in an oxygen leakaccident at Zakir Hussain Hospital in Nashik. On the other hand, the State Health Minister, while talking to reporters, has said that the matter will be investigated by a 7-member High Level Inquiry Committee. He has said, "Based on the report given by the Committee after conducting a thorough inquiry into the accident, action will be taken against the culprits. The report submitted by the Committee will be used for all hospitals as a SOP to ensure that such accidents do not happen again."

Rajesh Tope, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Food and Drug Administration Minister Rajendra Shingne visited the hospital last Wednesday. Under the information received, the Inquiry Committee will be appointed under the Chairmanship of Departmental Commissioner Radhakrishna Game. The committee will consist of medical officers, principals of engineering colleges, municipal engineers and people constructing oxygen plants due to accidents caused by technical glitches. Rajesh Tope says, "After this accident, it is necessary to ensure that all the oxygen in the oxygen liquid tank is under pressure with utmost care."

He also said, "Therefore, 24-hour security guards will be put on duty and maintenance of oxygen tanks and cylinders will also be hired by the maintenance of oxygen tanks and cylinders. a SOP will be prepared to ensure that such an incident does not happen again. The findings in the report will be prepared SOP. At the same time, Rajesh Tope reiterated that "the families of the deceased will be given rs 5 lakh each from the government. 5 lakh each from the Municipal Corporation."
