NEW DELHI: Former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, who was arrested by the CBI in the INX case, has made serious allegations against the High Court and the Solicitor General. Sibal is also a senior Congress leader and senior lawyer. Sibal made the allegation while hearing ed's plea. Kapil Sibal said that when the debate in the Delhi High Court was over, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had given a note to Justice Gaud in the High Court.

We didn't get a chance to reply to that. The same note was changed to a judgment and refused to grant bail to Chidambaram. Solicitor General Mehta asked Sibal not to make false statements. He said he had not given any note after the cross-examination was over. The Supreme Court will hear the CBI and ED related cases on Monday. On the other hand, after the apex court's order, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta wanted to give the court some documents which had been collected by the Enforcement Directorate.

Sibal and Singhvi opposed it and said it had happened in the High Court earlier. The apex court refused to take the documents, saying everything would be taken up on Monday. The Supreme Court has asked for a hearing on Monday, August 26, against the Delhi High Court order and a petition filed by P Chidambaram against CBI custody. Both CBI and ED agencies are investigating the INX media case. The CBI has been granted custody of Chidambaram till August 26 by a Rauz Avenue court. The ED also wants to interrogate the former Union Minister and that is why he wants his remand.
