Visakhapatnam: The incidents of dog attacks are continuously increasing all over the country. The recent case has come to light from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh. Here an 18-month-old girl lost her life in a dog attack. The girl was alone in the house when the dogs attacked. The incident is being told of Friday (21 April 2023) evening.

According to media reports, the case pertains to Mettavalasa under G Sigadam mandal of Srikakulam district. Here, an 18-month-old girl is lying on a bed inside her home. Meanwhile the dogs attacked her. The dogs dragged the girl in their mouths and took them to a nearby garden. In the garden itself, several dogs together scratched the girl badly.

After this incident, when the mother of the child returned home, she found that the child was not at home. After this she inquired in the neighborhood. Even after enquiry, when nothing was found about the girl, they started searching in the surrounding area. On this she heard the cry of a girl child in a garden. When seen on the spot, the girl was badly injured due to the attack of the dogs. In a hurry, the family members reached the hospital with the baby girl. Where the doctor declared the girl dead.
