Kashmir: Pakistan has been stung by the rapid elimination of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The high mode in which the Indian Army is operating is neither getting new recruits to terror, nor is any nefarious move to succeed. Meanwhile, some militants hiding in the valley are trying to dump ammunition near the border by throwing down arms from the hill to overcome the shortage of arms.

The security forces had recently seized a cache of weapons and ammunition near the LOC. Obviously, people across the border are intruding lightly. The weapons are being dumped near LOC and the activity on the cross-border launch pad has increased. In Kashmir, supporters of terrorists are reported to have a consignment of weapons that take them silently and reach out to terrorists operating in the valley. Following the revelations, strict vigil is also being maintained for the movement of civilians living in areas adjoining loc. Because these people can also take up arms by becoming sleeper cells, aam aadmi or shepherds.

In the last one week, three large consignments of arms have been seized from Baramulla and Kupwara in North Kashmir. It also includes modern weapons. Security forces are reported to have a large cache of arms and ammunition, which is being carried out to recover the search operation.
