Pakistani woman cricketer Sana Mir has announced her retirement from cricket. At the age of 33, Sana has said goodbye to all three formats of cricket. The name of Sana, the first female cricketer to take 100 wickets in cricket from Pakistan's side, also holds a unique record in the ICC top-20 bowling for nine consecutive years.

Pakistan women's cricket team won its first titles in One Day and T20 format under Sana's captaincy. Sana said, I have decided to take a break from international cricket and I will not be available for next month's series against England. Earlier, Sana had lashed out at Pakistani actress Mahira Khan for an advertisement campaign. Sana was upset with the advertisement of a beauty product from Mahira.

According to Sana, a girl's concern is increasing how she will look on the basketball court. The worst thing is that by sending such messages to young girls, we are encouraging them to pay attention to skin color or texture. It promotes body-shaming somewhere.
