However, no comment has been made by the BCCI on this entire matter.
PCB has asked the ICC to take written assurance from the BCCI that their team will not face any problem in getting a visa to play in the 2021 T20 World Cup to be held in India in 2023. PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said in an interview to 'YouTube Cricket Eagle' channel that we are also looking at the fact that the ICC World Cup is to be hosted in India in 2021 2023 We have already hosted the International Cricket Council ( ICC) has given us written assurance from the BCCI that we will not face any problem regarding the acceptance of playing in India in obtaining the visa.
According to the information given by a senior official, PCB has asked the ICC to tell the BCCI to get assurances from its government in the next few months. The official has also confirmed that the ICC Executive Board in its next meeting will decide whether the next World T20 Cup will be hosted by Australia or India.
