New Delhi: Pakistan cricket has suffered many setbacks these days. Pakistan may get another blow. In view of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the ODI series between the women's teams of the two countries may be canceled under the ICC Championship. According to the reports in Pakistan's media, the ODI series played between July and November may be in trouble. Under the ICC Championship, the Indian women's team has to play in the ODI series against Pakistan.

These bouts are to be held in India. India may withdraw from hosting after a deteriorating political atmosphere between the two countries. According to a report, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had sought permission from the Government of India to organize the championship, so far no response has come from the government in this matter.

Actually Pakistan was aware of this and hence the Board of Pakistan offered to play in neutral position for the matches played by the women's cricket team, which India refused to accept. Significantly, in this case, it was said by the International Cricket Council that the decision on the series is the responsibility of both countries. It becomes the responsibility of both countries to decide on the matter. There is tension between the two regarding the Kashmir issue.
