Lahore: Pakistan cricketers have announced a donation of 50 lakh Pakistani rupees to help the government in the war against the coronavirus. The donation will be made to the National Government Emergency Fund. Along with the cricketers, the staff of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will also assist in it on their own.

Employees from the Pakistan Cricket Board to the staff at the senior manager level will pay one day's salary while the general manager or those in a higher position will give their two days' salary to the government to fight Corona. A statement issued by the PCB states that the PCB will collect all these funds and deposit it in the government's Coronavirus Fund.

On giving information in this regard, Chairman of PCB, Ehsan Mani said, "PCB is always standing with the people of Pakistan during this difficult time. " The number of people infected with Coronavirus in Pakistan has crossed 1,000. The number of patients with infection from Covid-19 in the country increased to 1,037.
