Jammu: BSF has detained a Pak intruder in Samba sector of Jammu on Tuesday evening. A mobile phone has also been recovered from the intruder. The difference between what Pak says and what it says is to respect the terms of the ceasefire issued on the border about 2 months ago has been seen once more. On Tuesday evening, BSF personnel deployed in Samba sector of Jammu have seen some commotion on that side of the border.

The intruder was arrested and sent for treatment: it is learnt that as soon as the intruder approached the fencing, he immediately started firing in BSF in which the intruder was injured. The intruder was immediately taken into custody by the BSF personnel and taken to Vijaypur Hospital for treatment. Though the BSF has not confirmed the incident till late on Tuesday night, police said the intruder's name is Asif Raja who hails from Zafarwal village.

A mobile phone and charger have also been found near the intruder on BSF. It may be recalled that the movement along the Pak border has intensified in the last few days. In the recent past, Pak has not only fired on a patrol party in BSF in Samba sector of Jammu but also dropped weapons from drones in the same Samba sector, which have been recovered by BSF. Recently, BSF killed an intruder from Pakistan in the same Samba sector.
