According to the Pakistani media, more than 50 clerics in the country, including those associated with Wadakul Madaris al Arabia, have also warned the government not to pursue sanctions by showing fear of the Coronavirus. All these clerics hail from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to the information, all of them had a meeting at Jamia Darul Uloom Zakariya in Islamabad in which consensus was reached to remove the ban on mosques due to Corona and to warn the government about it. In this meeting, apart from senior clerics associated with this organization, members of the banned organization Ahle Sunnat Vall Jamaat also attended. After the meeting, it was said that no such ban should be imposed in the holy month of Ramadan. According to the newspaper, a video of this meeting has also been released. After the meeting, Pir Azizur Rahman Hazarvi, president of Jamia Darul Uloom Zakaria, said that we want to avoid any confrontation situation.
