On the one hand, while the coronavirus is spreading in Pakistan continuously, on the other hand, a group of fundamentalist clerics wants that the government should not forget to pursue the restrictions of mass prayers in mosques. According to the Pakistani media, more than 50 clerics in the country, including those associated with Wadakul Madaris al Arabia, have also warned the government not to pursue sanctions by showing fear of the Coronavirus. All these clerics hail from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to the information, all of them had a meeting at Jamia Darul Uloom Zakariya in Islamabad in which consensus was reached to remove the ban on mosques due to Corona and to warn the government about it. In this meeting, apart from senior clerics associated with this organization, members of the banned organization Ahle Sunnat Vall Jamaat also attended. After the meeting, it was said that no such ban should be imposed in the holy month of Ramadan. According to the newspaper, a video of this meeting has also been released. After the meeting, Pir Azizur Rahman Hazarvi, president of Jamia Darul Uloom Zakaria, said that we want to avoid any confrontation situation.

Maulana Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid, while giving a direct challenge to the Islamabad administration, has even said that he should stop and show them. It also said that during the namaz in mosques, all the necessary precaution, including the investigation, social distancing of all persons, will also be taken. Jamia Darul Uloom Zakaria is a part of Pakistan's Jamiat Ulama Islam Fazal (JUI-F).
