Lucknow: The term of the panchayat members in Uttar Pradesh expires at the end of December. In such a situation, the enthusiasts about the elections have intensified. The Election Commission is making its preparations, so the Yogi government is also giving its preparations. Discussion of Panchayat elections is also going to be held in the cabinet meeting on Friday.

Along with this, CM Yogi Adityanath will also talk to his colleagues on agricultural law. In the cabinet meeting to be held on Friday, CM Yogi Panchayat will discuss the election. Along with this, we will also review the work being done in the portfolios of ministers and take progress reports from colleagues. Apart from this, we will discuss with all cabinet colleagues about agricultural law. All ministers will have to give information about the law to the farmer in their area.

The tenure of Dena Panchayat members ends at the end of December. According to the information received, administrative officers can be assigned the work after the end of the term. The elections should have been done by now, but could not happen due to coronavirus infection. The Election Commission has not announced any date yet.
