Supaul: Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) president Pappu Yadav, who was brought to Veerpur jail in Supaul district last night after a virtual appearance in the Madhepura court, has gone on hunger strike. The decision was taken by the former MP who was angry with the mismanagement of the jail. A tweet has also been tweeted from Pappu Yadav's official Twitter handle in this regard. The tweet reads, "I am on hunger strike in Virpur jail. There is no water, no washroom, i had an operation on my foot, i can't sit down, i don't even have a commode".

Papu Yadav's tweet further says, "It is my crime to serve a corona patient, save his life, expose the drug mafia, the hospital mafia, the oxygen mafia, the ambulance mafia. My fight continues!". In another tweet, the former MP wrote, "Colleagues, I am in jail, but the politics of saving and serving life should continue. Raniganj Vishanpur's daughter Soni who lost her parents became an orphan. He was forced to bury his mother. Help them a lot. On the other hand, sister Ruchi, on whose asmat Dr. Akhilesh put his hand, fight for justice".

In Bihar, police have arrested JAP president Pappu Yadav in connection with a kidnapping case registered in 1989 at Kumarkhand police station in Madhepura district. Police from Madhepura district reached Patna around 4pm on Tuesday and took Pappu Yadav to Madhepura amid high voltage drama and protests. He was muscled at about 12 p.m. Jap president Pappu Yadav has been lodged in Veerpur jail in Supaul.
