New Delhi: The Budget Session of Parliament is going to begin today. All newly elected MPs will be sworn in today. It is worth mentioning that the Lok Sabha speaker is scheduled to be elected on June 19. The General Budget will be passed in this session of Parliament and other important bills like triple talaq will be key on the government's agenda.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led an all-party meeting on the eve of the first session of the new Lok Sabha. On June 19, he invited the heads of all political parties to discuss the issue of "one country, one election" and other important issues. Underlining the new faces in the Lok Sabha this time, Prime Minister Modi has said that the first session of the Lok Sabha should begin with new vigour and thinking.
