Delhi AIIMS to go on strike on this day, patients will face difficulties

New Delhi: Nurses unions of AIIMS New Delhi have decided to strike. AIIMS Nurses Union, Employees Union AIIMS and Officers Association of AIIMS are going on an indefinite strike from October 25. Regarding this, AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria sent a letter sent on behalf of three unions and their demands have been written.

The same AIIMS Nurses Union President Harish Kajla said that the three unions will strike in an equitable manner. For this, according to the Industrial Disputes Act 1927, notice has been given by giving notice and it has been said that this strike can be extended till the demands are not met. Kajla said that along with AIIMS Nurses Union, both the other organizations have been making demands for the help of the employees for a long time, which have been assured to fulfil them many times but no implementation has been done on them. 

In such a situation, even after being reminded several times, when no hearing is being held, all the three unions have decided to go on strike. A charter of demand has also been given by the unions to the AIIMS director. In which 19 demands are related to the help of all the workers. At the same time, five demands are for the employees union of AIIMS. While the other 12 demands are for the AIIMS Nurses Union and the remaining 11 demands are for all the members of the Officers Association. There will be a strike from October 25 on these demands, divided into four parts.
